UK FTA Beef

New Zealand will be able to export 12,000 tonnes (net product weight) of beef products to the United Kingdom in year one, increasing to 38,820 tonnes (npw) in year ten when the NZ-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA) enters into force at conclusion of domestic legislation processes.

EU High Quality Beef

New Zealand can export 846 tonnes (net product weight) of High Quality Beef to the European Union annually at a 20% ad valorem duty.  This is a World Trade Organisation (WTO) tariff rate quota.

US Beef & Veal

New Zealand can export 213,402 tonnes of beef and veal to the United States annually – most at a tariff rate of US4.4c/kg                          

EU Sheepmeat & Goatmeat

114,184 tonnes (carcase weight equivalent) of New Zealand sheepmeat and goatmeat can be exported to the European Union annually at zero duty. This is a World Trade Organisation (WTO) tariff rate quota.

UK High Quality Beef

New Zealand can export 454 tonnes (net product weight) of High Quality Beef to the United Kingdom annually at a 20% ad valorem duty. This is a World Trade Organisation (WTO) tariff rate quota.

UK Sheepmeat & Goatmeat

114,205 tonnes (carcase weight equivalent) of New Zealand sheepmeat and goatmeat can be exported to the United Kingdom annually at zero duty. This is a World Trade Organisation (WTO) tariff rate quota.
